Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses LogMyChat.

1. Bring only chats you have a right to use

• Upload chats you took part in, or chats you have permission to use.
• Don't upload a chat you got by going into someone else's phone or account without their permission.
• The other people in a chat have rights over their messages too. Use the record only for a lawful purpose, such as keeping your own records or preparing a claim.

2. Don't use the service to harm people

• Don't use it to harass, stalk, threaten, blackmail or secretly monitor anyone.
• Don't publish someone's private messages to shame or expose them.
• Don't bring content that is illegal where you live. This includes any content that sexually exploits children, which we report to the authorities where the law requires it.

3. Don't misrepresent a record

• Don't edit a downloaded record and present it as the original WhatsApp export.
• Transcripts, summaries and answers are written by AI and can contain mistakes. Check them against the original messages and recordings before you rely on them or show them to anyone.

4. Don't abuse the service

• Don't try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer it.
• Don't get around its limits or payments, for example by automating the free sample or sharing one paid record as a service to others.
• Don't pay with card details that are not yours.

5. If these rules are broken

We may remove the content and suspend or close the account, as our Terms of Service allow.

6. Report a problem

If you think someone is using LogMyChat against you, or you see something that breaks this policy, write to support@logmychat.com.
